Descrição In this course, you will be introduced to general principles underlying the practice of object-oriented programming. You will explore the benefits of object-oriented programming, explore the steps and critical attributes involved in a software project plan, and examine key attributes of software analysis and design tools. You will also examine the benefits of using an object-oriented approach to developing windowed applications and Web applications.

After completing this course, you will be able to explain what constitutes an object-oriented approach to programming, identify potential benefits of object-oriented programming over other approaches, describe the aspects of object-oriented programming, list and describe the steps and critical attributes involved in a good software project plan, and list and describe key attributes of software analysis and design tools and methodologies. You also will be able to briefly describe the general benefits of using an object-oriented approach to developing windowed applications, including the use of application frameworks and class libraries, and briefly describe the general benefits of using an object-oriented approach to developing Web applications.
