Módulo Building Cisco Multilayer Switch Networks

Título:

Building Cisco Multilayer Switch Networks

Idioma: ING
Origem: Element K

Descrição In this course you will explore how to identify the characteristics and inherent weaknesses of the traditional campus network architecture and recognize how new technologies can provide solutions to availability and performance issues. You will also use the three-tier hierarchical model and Cisco building block approach to understand network functionality and design fundamentals in the campus environment, and how Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) can be designed to maximize scalability, overcome availability issues in campus network design, recognize inter-VLAN routing requirements in the campus topology. After completing this course you will understand and which configuration option can provide the best solution for a given network and how Multilayer Switching (MLS) can increase network performance without the processing overhead of traditional routers. You will also understand how to use Cisco´s Hot Standby Routing Protocol (HSRP), how to distinguish between various modes of transmission, and how to identify requirements for access control policies at the various layers of the network, including security, traffic management, and resource allocation.
