Título:

BGP: Connecting, Scaling, and Improving Network Stability

Idioma: ING
Origem: Element K

Descrição This course opens with an exploration of common concerns in enterprise networks. It describes how to implement customer connectivity using static routing and how to connect a multihomed customer to a single service provider and multiple service providers. It examines the functions of a transit autonomous system and describes how to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot a transit backbone. The Scaling portion of the course identifies the problems and solutions involved in scaling OSPF in an enterprise network, examines how route reflectors are used, identifies the problems and solutions involved in scaling EIGRP in an enterprise network, and explores the concept of hierarchical route reflectors. The benefits and drawbacks of using BGP in an enterprise network are also discussed. The Improving BGP Network Stability portion of the course explores how to plan, migrate, and configure BGP route reflectors; configure peer groups to share common configuration parameters; use maximum prefix filter to limit the number of prefixes received from a neighbor; and implement route flap dampening.
