| Descrição | Storage network solutions comprise a number of complementary technologies, which makes performance tuning and troubleshooting a challenge. In this course, you will describe performance analysis to the customer so that the customer has a high-level overview of the process that will take place, and you will create a comprehensive test plan that can be used as a guide to tuning the client´s storage network. You will also baseline the current performance of the client´s storage network to determine precisely which problems are causing the performance degradations. You will then determine the scope of your responsibilities as the SE, so you can identify situations in which you should bring in additional personnel and business partners. You will then examine several commonly used fabric-analysis, protocol-analysis, and load-simulation tools and select the appropriate tools so you can accurately identify how to increase performance in the storage network. Finally, you will describe the relevant technical issues that need to be solved in a storage area network, such as ensuring the protection of data, solving common storage network problems, and selecting the appropriate troubleshooting tools. |
