Descrição This course is designed to accommodate end-users who use assistive technology tools (screen readers, for example) to access the course content. The course was designed to work with JAWS® for Windows® screen reading software.XML: Schema Designis a hands-on instruction book that introduces you to the basics of Schema design. The course was developed using the May 2000 Technology Preview release of Microsoft's MSXML parser. We recommend that you use the latest version of this parser. You can download the MSXML parser fromhttp://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/webtechnology/xml/msxml.asp. If for some reason this link is no longer available, you should browse to the main Microsoft Developers Network page athttp://msdn.microsoft.com/. In addition to the MSXML parser, the course also uses the Internet Explorer Tools for Validating XML and Viewing XSLT Output. This set of tools makes it easier to validate your XML on the fly. Using these tools means that you won't have to write any scripts or additional code to validate your XML from within the browser. The Xerces parser is available fromhttp://xml.apache.org. It's a Java parser and therefore requires some knowledge of the language.Like all current XML parsers, the MSXML parser supports only a fraction of the W3C's Schema specification. While you can use another validating parser with this course, for example, the Xerces parser, some of the tasks and associated screenshots will not key correctly. The concepts taught throughout the course are correct no matter what parser you use.
