Macromedia Generator is a Web server production application that combines text, graphics, and sound to deliver dynamically generated graphical and multimedia content. Generator templates are authored in Flash 5 with the Generator Authoring extensions. Generator templates are placed on a Web server and are processed by the Online Generator or Offline Generator applications which merge the Generator template with external data sources to create a variety of graphical or multimedia output types, including GIF, JPEG, Flash Movies, MOV, PNG, and more. |
